Usage & Acceptable Use Policy

This policy governs all access to Cortiqa API endpoints, client libraries, models, and console tooling. By integrating Cortiqa, you agree to adhere to these usage principles.

Acceptable Use

We encourage developers and businesses to build innovative products across:

• Software engineering, automated code review, and developer productivity tooling.
• Interactive conversational bots, customer service agents, and automated ticketing.
• Scientific analysis, medical literature synthesis, and mathematical proofs.
• Creative writing, educational tutoring, and language translation.

Strictly Prohibited Activities

The Cortiqa platform may not be used for:

• Cyber Exploits: Developing, distributing, or analyzing malware, ransomware, or executing unauthorized denial-of-service tests.
• Disinformation & Manipulation: Generating fake persona campaigns, mass political spam, or misleading impersonation.
• Surveillance & Rights Infringement: Real-time mass biometric facial recognition in public spaces or profiling that violates fundamental privacy laws.
• High-Stakes Autonomous Decisions: Autonomous execution of lethal defense systems, life-support medical interventions, or fully automated unreviewed credit denials.

Enforcement & Key Suspension

When a violation is detected through automated monitoring or external reports:

1. Investigation: Our trust & safety team reviews request logs and account telemetry.
2. Warning / Rate Throttling: For minor unintentional issues, developers receive written notice to remediate prompt design within 48 hours.
3. Suspension: Malicious or severe violations result in immediate revocation of API keys and account termination.
